Guest Speaker: Helen O’Connor (BBC Children in Need)

Helen O’Connor is Small Grants Manager at BBC Children in Need, the BBC’s corporate charity. They exist to change the lives of children and young people across the UK.

Their role in achieving this vision is by making grants to charities and other non-profit organisations that support and work with children and young people who are disadvantaged and face challenges in their lives.

BBC Children in Need are planning to open two new funding rounds in the next six months. The first will open before the end of the year, followed by a further funding round in Spring. These funding rounds will be open for applications for grants of £10,000 and larger awards of over £10,000.

Join Helen as she delivers a spotlight session that is guaranteed to give you key insights into the application process.

This is FREE to individuals from small and BAMER (black, Asian, multi-ethnic and refugee) organisations and run in collaboration with Money4YOU, Race on the Agenda (ROTA) and Black Fundraisers UK (BF-UK).

We know that you are facing numerous unique challenges; often it takes many years to gain momentum and build capacity in spite of the great need that you are meeting.

But rest assured you are not alone and we are here to help!
