Comic Relief is is a major UK charity, with a vision of a just world, free from poverty. It was founded in 1985 by the comedy scriptwriter Richard Curtis and comedian Lenny Henry.

As well as fundraising, they also help to raise awareness around some important issues where they work with others to have the biggest impact in creating lasting change.

They do this in a number of ways. It could be by shining a light on overlooked issues, working to change legislation, collaborating with other organisations or funding new, innovative approaches to old problems. Sometimes, it’s something entirely different. The results can be incredible.

Don’t miss this opportunity to find out how to put your best foot forward when applying to them.

This is FREE to individuals from small and BAMER (black, Asian, multi-ethnic and refugee) organisations and run in collaboration with Money4YOU, Race on the Agenda (ROTA) and Black Fundraisers UK (BF-UK).

We know that you are facing numerous unique challenges; often it takes many years to gain momentum and build capacity in spite of the great need that you are meeting.

But rest assured you are not alone and we are here to help!
