The Henry Smith Charity is an independent grant-making trust founded in 1628 by Henry Smith, a businessman working in the City of London. Since then, they have honoured the spirit of Henry Smith’s will, working to combat disadvantage and meet the challenges and opportunities facing people in need throughout the UK. Today.

They help people for whom other sources of support have failed, been inappropriate or are simply not available. To achieve this they aim to make grants work towards one or more of the following our key values.

In this #BrunchBriefing, we will be discussing the Improving Lives grant:

  • Improving Lives – Grants for small and medium-sized organisations in the UK to support projects and the running costs of organisations.

Guest Speaker: Babs Evans, Head of Grants

In this #BrunchBriefing you will learn:

  • About the fund
  • The application process and criteria
  • Top Tips for applying
  • Q&A

This is FREE to individuals from small and BAMER (Black, Asian, Multi-Ethnic and Refugee) organisations and run in collaboration with Race on the Agenda (ROTA) and Black Fundraisers UK (BF-UK).
